Nissestyrelsen, in close collaboration with DAC (Danish Architecture Center), has prepared a report on Urban Renewal in areas with a large Nisse population.
As winter approaches, many of the younger nisser that have been in a state of hibernation during the summer months will emerge from that state, with lots of stored energy ready to be released. This is a natural process, so if you notice more nisse activity in your area, don't be alarmed!
The University of Copenhagen, in collaboration with NisseStyrelsen has inaugurated a new course in Nisse Studies, it will be a 4-year education, focusing on magic, sneeze traps and rules regarding Nisse's behavior in the human world.
