Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace
NisseStyrelsen is proud to reaffirm our unwavering commitment to diversity and inclusion.
We have always recognized the unique contributions of both humans
and magical beings, including nisser,
to creating a vibrant and dynamic workplace.
Diversity is not just a principle we hold dear;
it is a core value
that enriches our operations and strengthens our mission.
From the first establishment of our agency
under Tage Reedtz-Thott's government in 1896
the Nissestyrelsen had employees who were not human,
or magically gifted in some way,
this story is strikingly related in the book
"The Pipe Smoker's Guide to Wise Governance",
which is unfortunately no longer published,
but can be found in the Nissestyrelsen's library.
Another source of details for these early days
is the recent reissue of "Potenkeep's Guide to the Law of Nisse", which can be found in an English version, "Guide To NisseLoven: The Law Of Nisses",
published by Illuminati Ganga and
available from Amazon.
Currently only available as Kindle e-book in English,
as physical copies are out of print. And the Danish version is not ready for Kindle yet.
The book describes how, at the original founding of the Nissestyrelsen,
there were only three employees -
an always drunk lawyer cursed with lycanthropy named Uffe Ulvesen,
a pixie named Oldepot Tippetsen, and the director,
a failed poet named Martin Tiedemann.
From the early humble beginnings, thanks to Tiedemann's cunning leadership, we find today's Nissestyrelsen.
A board where everyone contributes
to creating a stronger and more just Denmark
for both Human and Nisse.
